Genfam is a Perl script that is called with a “device specification” and a font family reference, and will run Metafont to produce the requisite bitmap fonts. The font family reference actually identifies a specification file; an example of such a file is provided.
This package is not available from either major free distribution, MiKTeX or TeX Live.
