MacTeXtras is a collection of auxiliary material for Macintosh machines,
beyond what MacTeX provides. It
is a .zip file, that contains extra programs, demos and
documentation for MacTeX users.
Beware: the download is large (approaching 500Mbytes).
This package is not available from either major free distribution, MiKTeX or TeX Live.
You can visit mactextras's CTAN directory to browse the source or download the material for installation.
